Puppy Love Prescott ~ A loving boarding alternative for your little dogs.
After a 5 year hiatus in Flagstaff, we are now boarding again at our new 3 acre ranchette in the Prescott area.
Will are also offering pick up and delivery for our previous Scottsdale & Flagstaff clients.
Cageless care in our home for your small dog* is a stress-free alternative to busy, loud kennels. Your dog lives and plays with us as one of the family. We have been offering this service for 12+ years, starting in Scottsdale in 1998 with many happy customers. After a 5 year break and two moves, we are ready for a new adventure and are thrilled to be offering this service to the Quad City areas including Prescott, Prescott Valley, Williamson Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey and Paulden. We serve healthy foods, natural supplements, bottled water and a offer a fully fenced and covered dog run and 2+ cross fenced acres for your little dog's enjoyment. Our large home is clean, fully tiled and SAFE. If they sleep in your bed, they sleep in ours too! We jump through hoops to assure your dog has a great time while they are here.
Whether your dog comes for daycare or to stay overnight when you travel, you can be assured this will be their new favorite place away from home and return to you happy, healthy and TIRED!
Multi-dog and weekly rates are offered and summer is filling up FAST. We only take two or three dogs in at a time to assure everyone gets the attention they deserve.

One dog $30/day includes all food, bottled water and treats as well as 24 hr supervision.
Daycare $20/up to 8 hours

*dogs must be under 25 pounds, spayed/neutered, healthy and FRIENDLY! No aggression or bad behaviors will be tolerated. NICE DOGS ONLY! We do require that your dog comes for a COMPLIMENTARY half day of daycare before you leave him/her with us for an extended stay to be sure everyone gets along and they enjoy our cageless, interactive, social enviroment.

Holistic care treats the whole body, not just individual symptoms to attain physical health.
In a nutshell, the immune system is designed to keep the body healthy all by itself, but needs the proper nutrients to do so. By suppressing the symptoms of disease with steroids and antibiotics (as with mainstream veterinary treatments) the immune system is unable to function properly and therefore, can not heal.
Suppressive therapy is not something we practice or advocate. By suppressing symptoms, we believe the disease is pushed further into the body. Why not eliminate what is causing the symptoms, instead of just covering them up with drugs? Many dogs are grain intolerant and a simple food switch can clear up allergies and other ills. We have seen this happen over and over again. Corn is not something dogs should ingest, yet it's hidden in many brands of commercial pet food because it is a cheap filler. Chemical preservatives and other suspect ingredients are also present and not always revealed. Read the labels!

Our dogs eat "PEOPLE FOOD"! (gasp!)
Well, not always what we are eating, but foods made with ingredients good enough for us to eat. If you knew what was in that popular commercial pet food you bought at the grocery store or mass merchandiser we're certain you would re-think feeding it. Not so many years ago, dogs ate the leftovers from the family dinner and did quite well. (many dogs still eat this way in Europe and are seemingly healthier than American dogs).
Dog food is a fairly new invention, just as human fast-food is. Convenient? YES.....healthy?....not really. Would you eat pre-packaged, processed food every day and expect to stay healthy? A dog's liver (detoxifying organ) is meant to only work for an average 8-12 year lifespan....not 70 like the human liver. Think about it......
It's really NOT hard to make a chicken stew for your dogs and they will LOVE it! We also use Dr. Harvey's products, which are pre-mixes you just add meat to! 8 minutes to a healthy, fresh meal.
A few industry buzz words advertising "healthy & natural" is not what is seems in most cases. Fancy packaging, pretty pictures and TV commercials showing healthy vegetables falling into a bag are clever marketing tools. Deception runs rampant in this industry. Learn to read the labels and see for yourself, don't just take our word for it. Now we are finding out that even some of the better canned foods are being made in the same factories as the cheap stuff. And with imported ingredients from China.
Visit this website to see the horrible ingredients used in the "Healthy Radiance" brand including artificial colors, sugar, sorbitol, cheap fractionated corn and who-knows-what-it-is by-products. And they are calling it healthy? How STUPID do they think the American public is??? How do they get away with it?
It's horrifying to us that even one pet had to die from the pet food recalls in March 2007. It just should NOT have happened. We fear these recalls will be a familiar part of our future if BIG changes are not made in the industry, and the only way change will occur is if the CONSUMERS make it happen. (that's YOU) Stop paying for the garbage left over from the human-food industry! (that's what most cheap, grocery store pet food is made with)
